The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones that do

Lisa, a Canadian-born, natural athlete retired from her twelve year National Synchronised Swimming career and fell in love with Yoga and Energy Medicine. In search of a method to heal her body she trained in diverse fitness modalities discovering she desired a holistic approach to physical, mental and emotional balance. Twenty years into her dedicated practice, it is undeniable that yoga, meditation, breath awareness and self-enquiry have positively transformed Lisa’s life. It couldn’t be possible without the daily practice, so her passion for teaching stems entirely from personal experience.

Lisa is a Certified Yoga Instructor, Intuitive Counsellor, Master Reiki Practitioner and Breath Coach. She is currently studying Transpersonal Psychology, specialising in Art Therapy. Also committed to ongoing education in Hawaiian Spirituality, she studies under her Kumu - Pa’a Julia Nalani.

As a retired Elite Athlete, Lisa aims to share her experiences with those pursuing a goal, providing them with the tools she didn't have access to during her athletic career. She studied extensively with world-class yoga teachers and healers and she believes we are our own best teacher. A 'science nerd', she is committed to ongoing education.

Also a mother to two very energetic children, a writer, artist, jewellery designer, and retired Flight Attendant, Lisa has a lust for anything involving adventure, travel, creativity and water!

When not on her mat or board, Lisa’s true passion lies in service to others. She is an Ambassador for Africa Yoga Project, a program based in Nairobi empowering, educating and employing high-risk African youth using the transformational practice of yoga.

Lisa officially called Sydney home in 2013. You couldn’t pull her away from the ocean if you tried. She believes the ocean can teach us everything we need to know about life. Based in breath awareness, Lisa brings a simple, soft; yet firm energy in her teachings that inspires people to heal themselves from the inside out.
